The visitor process

All participants must carefully consider all COVID-19 personal and household risk assessment issues in accordance with the government guidelines.

If you have any symptoms, then please contact us and cancel your session. A credit note will be provided added to your account and will be processed by our accounts team within three working days.

We strongly advise that you go to the toilet before arriving on site. Toilets are open but customers are advised to use the toilet before making the journey to our site.

Changing rooms and showers are closed.

Arrival at Site

To restrict movement on site our barriers will remain locked until further notice. To open the barrier, please call 07896 045595 or 018278 72000 who will confirm your booking and open the barrier.

Shoes must be worn when not taking part in an activity.

On arrival to the Aqua Village, you will be asked to join our one-way system and obey any staff instructions, you are permitted to bring a bag with you, this will be left in the new safety briefing area during your activity.

Spectators are allowed on-site in our viewing gallery but are asked to be mindful of other customers and to observe social distancing guidelines.

During Activity

Good hand hygiene should be observed at all times.

Please be respectful to other customers and members of staff that may be around you.

End of Activity

If using the Ski Schools equipment, then the skier has to wipe down with antiviral wipe/spray and disposable paper towel.

Shoes are to be put on after you have completed your activity.

Please get changed at your own vehicle and not in the Aqua Village area.

Customers are to leave site as quickly as possible.

Swimming

We’d like to thank everyone for their on-going support during this difficult time and we hope that all our customers and friends are keeping well during this period. As always, we are reviewing our activities on a regular basis and have adapted how we operate in accordance with the present guidance issued by the government.

Swim Lanes

We've great success and feedback from many swimmers since we first began operating the swim lanes on the 20th of May. The lanes run between May - September and are 70 meters long and can cater for a maximum of 10 swimmers at one time. Each swimmer will be designated their own lane to use for their booked session which will last for an hour. The swim lanes won't have a designated lifeguard to watch the lanes but there is a safety team around to assist where is needed. Swimmers must wear a wetsuit or a tow float and wear a brightly coloured hat.

Open Water Swimming

After careful consideration, we have decided that from the 11th July Open Water Swimming will return to Cliff Lakes! We will be opening the 250m & 750m loop. Swimming sessions will begin to run on Saturday (8:30 - 11:00) and Wednesday (17:15 - 20:00). The barrier will be open from 8:15, please don’t arrive before this time. Swimmers must arrive at their session ready to go, there will be no changing in the Aqua Village area. We have also increased the swim price for the first time in over 5 years. The new swim price will be £7 and parking will be free to all swimming customers.

How to book

After speaking to many of our swimmers we have decided to give our swimmers the choice of how they can book.

NOWCA Swimmers

NOWCA swimmers can book on via the ACTIO booking app, from here you can book your session and turn up at your selected time.

We are giving the option for NOWCA members to transfer their swimming credits on their band to our in house booking system which will allow you to use your credits on the Swim Lanes, Ski School or Aqua Park (When this is bookable on the booking system). To do this you will need to make a booking on our in house booking system and then speak to a member of staff when you arrive for your session. We won't be dealing with this via email or over the phone.

Non-NOWCA Swimmers

For those swimmers that don't have a NOWCA band, you can book onto our Open Water Swimming sessions using our booking system.

Ski School

After carefully reading the advice that has been issued from BWSW, we have deemed it safe to partly operate our ski school. Due to the current circumstances, inflatable tows won't be operated.

To protect our customers and staff, we have set out strict guidelines and procedures that you are to follow at all times, we ask that you follow our guidelines and practice social distancing while on site.

Aqua Park

Over the past two months, our Aqua Park has had great success, and we are excited to announce that we can begin to open the park to even more people! We will be running the park at 25% capacity (25 people per park) and will have strict guidelines in place that customers should abide by. We will continue to operate the park as a split park.
In addition to the current visitor guidelines that have been set out above, our Aqua Park customers should also do the following.
Wait in the car park until all of your group has arrived. Once everyone has arrived, the Party Leader and the participants should join the one-way system and check-in at reception, do not enter the queue until all your party have arrived.
Once checked in, you will head to our wetsuit area where you will get changed. This area will be open-air changing. We advise coming in swimwear. Lockers will be available with Padlocks to safely keep your belongings in during your visit.

Participants under the age of 12 should be accompanied by an adult over the age of 18. The ratio is 1 adult to 6 children.

Spectators are allowed on-site in our viewing gallery but are asked to be mindful of other customers and to observe social distancing guidelines.
